Han River Cruise

One of the best ways to get out and enjoy summer in Seoul is to take a Han River Cruise. So that's just what we did yesterday.

The ferry left from just near the famous 63 Building.

Although it was cloudy, the smog was gone for once.
(Thanks to China's pre-Olympic shutdown of factories, perhaps?)

The ferry was Pirates-of-the-Caribbean-themed, much to our delight (ha).

Jamsil Stadium

Enjoying some beverages.

We ended the day trying some Kraze Burgers. I know what you're thinking: "Were they kraze?" The answer is yes. Yes, they were.

The Park Hyatt Seoul

For our 4 year anniversary we booked the "Romance Package" for the Park Hyatt Seoul and it was *by far* one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

View from the lobby

The scene of the crime: where we were tricked into buying 2 $10 bottles of Evian.

With the shades down

Then up. Those floor to ceiling windows were awesome.

View from the bedroom into the bathroom. Check out that tub!

Part of the Romance Package included a special salt bath, prepared by hotel staff.

Me with the delicious champagne we brought with us.

One of my favorite parts of staying in hotels is opening all the drawers to see just what's hiding in there...

Assorted tea & coffee

Looks like we've hit the jackpot: booze!
(we didn't really touch it, too expensive)

Glasses

There's an ice bucket too.
It looks like they've got all the essentials covered. This is important.

Fully stocked fridge...I like it.

Good thing we brought our own champagne as this small bottle cost more than our big one.

What could this be?

Mmmm...chocolates!

Enjoying a glass of champagne before dinner.
I'm pretty sure I could get used to this.

Hallway to the Park Hyatt bar, the Timber House.

Our package-included cocktails. Yay!

La Scala, the French restaurant where we ate dinner.

They play classical music while you eat, which definitely made up for the food, which was a little disappointing.

Our in-room breakfast was absolutely amazing.

The room key.

Some more pics, looking into the bathroom.

The pot.

Class view from the tub.

There was even a flat screen TV built into the wall.
I love it when they think of everything.

Leaving, sniff...

Going up to check out, how weird.
The lobby was on the top floor.
