I've never seen a Japanese person wear sunglasses except for fashion purposes. Why is that?

While I was out for a jog yesterday I saw a Confederate flag sticker on a car. Weird.

Well I suppose it's not that weird. I can totally see how a Japanese would buy it & stick it on his/her car thinking it looked cool while not having a clue as to what it means or stands for. I still think it's weird for me to randomly see it...
